FOREWORD
Childhood birthdays were excuses for elaborate and uniquely themed parties, long before Jackie had the words for experiential design. That instinct led her to study architecture, where she discovered the potential in shaping space for storytelling.
Since then, her work has spanned haunted houses, immersive theater sets, retail window displays, selfie palaces, large props, art installations, and parade floats. She has also expanded into digital spaces, applying the same principles of immersion and narrative to virtual environments. Most recently, she has found unexpected joy in creating deep fakes and forgeries—a skill she assures will only be used for entirely benign, creative purposes.
