Flowering Memory

Flowering Memory is a sound installation intended to offer a quiet, loving memorial to the people in the space. We will speak the names of each person in the room from within a sculptural costume shaped like a mound of poppies. Paired with a quiet soundscape, we will read from a beautiful handmade book that contains all of the names. Listeners will be invited to write the names of their loved ones and participate in the reading or ring a bell after each name is spoken.
